Hi! I’m a voice actor looking for direction on getting an agent!
I had an agent when I lived in North Texas, and I’ve worked with Voice123 since 2006. But I’m looking for an agent here in Atlanta. I’m a trained actor and a seasoned VO professional. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Let’s first start with WHO are the agents in Atlanta. There may be a couple others I’m missing that are mainly on-camera agents that also have VO departments…but these are the main ones I know are active.

*RSH is the only VO-only agency. The owners are based in LA but the agency and the relationships started in Atlanta.
J Pervis and RSH are the only agents that say that they’re accepting new VO talent. That may feel discouraging but it can always change.
HOW DO YOU GET AN AGENT?
- Emailing and self-submitting
- Via a Referral
- Relationship made in an Industry Pro Workout or Showcase
Most agents have their VO submission requirements on their website and submission email. But emailing can feel a little overwhelming. If you need some guidance, check out this:

If you know another talent who is on with that agent, they may be open to referring you. Make sure you have a good relationship with that talent, however, and it’s not someone you just met. That’s one of the many reasons we host a quarterly VO social (OFF MIC NIGHT). It’s so helpful to get to know other VO talent in the community – for mutual support and help.
Our Industry Pro Workouts are made available to our Mentorship Members first, so it can be tricky getting a spot. But we do bring in agents to our Beginner VO Intensive Classes and look for other opportunities for you to connect with them.
BEYOND ATLANTA
Don’t just stop in Atlanta! There are other Southeastern VO agents and other regional reps. A great place to find a comprehensive list is the VoiceOver Resource Guide.
