What Are Virtual Industry Pro Workouts ?
The FIRST TUESDAY evening from 7:00pm – 8:30pm ET* of every month, we’ll host a
virtual workout featuring an industry pro (VO agent, producer, creative, studio owner, etc.).
They’ll share their background, then you get to read 1-2 pieces of VO copy
for them with their feedback and direction. All sessions end with a Q&A with our guest.

Jeffrey Umberger is a voiceover talent manager with ACM Talent. A former TV and Film actor and musician, he began his career in talent representation as head of voiceover and commercial print at People Store. Jeffrey founded the nationally recognized voiceover agency, Umberger Agency before joining ACM. Prior to his career in representation, Jeffrey worked in casting with Kris Redding Casting, HGTV, DIY Network, & Fine Living Network. Additionally, he has provided voice coaching for on-air talent at CNN and NPR.

Morgan Peterson serves as the senior agent overseeing commercial, voice over, and print departments at Take 3 Talent Agency, representing a diverse array of clients featured in major campaigns for companies such as Chanel, Google Pixel, Cigna, McDonald’s, Amazon, Telfar, Audible, Hims & Hers, Target, and Adidas, among others. Her talented voice actors contribute to various media, including ads, animations, video games, and podcasts, featuring projects like DORA, Panera, Winnie the Pooh, Paw Patrol, Verizon, Fire Buds, Rockstar Games, Ebay, and BMW.
Having previously managed a prominent Boston talent agency, Morgan now brings her expertise to the bustling New York scene. Her dedication to her craft earned her a nomination for the 2022 Commercial or VO agent in the Northeast at the Heller Awards. Morgan is enthusiastic about supporting and empowering talent. When she’s not passionately typing away, you’ll likely find her scouring for new additions to her plant collection or exploring dusty antique shops.

Caila Cardwell | AMT Agency

Caila Cordwell graduated from Southeastern University with a BS in Film Production in the fall of 2016. Entering the company as an intern in spring 2017, she has now been AMT’s SAG-AFTRA Commercial Agent since July 2019. Caila also runs the Voiceover department and manages AMT’s social media accounts. In her spare time, Caila enjoys drinking craft coffee, reading classic literature, perusing fashion blogs, and spending too much time browsing the aisles at Target!
