HOME STUDIO BASICS - Virtual Class with Dan Friedman
Learn what you need to know to set up a home studio with this 2 hour virtual comprehensive class.
DAN FRIEDMAN
Dan is a renowned engineer, producer, director and author.
His book, SOUND ADVICE–Voiceover From An Audio Engineer’s Perspective, covers audio engineering and studio session etiquette. Named a “Must Read” for voice actors in the April 2022 edition of BACKSTAGE MAGAZINE.
He is also a successful voiceover talent and has been heard on hundreds of local and regional television and radio campaigns as well as many corporate narrations. LARRY HUDSON
Larry is a successful working voiceover talent in Los Angeles.
He has been teaching his Adobe Audition and Audacity Classes for the past 11 years with over 1,500 people successfully completing the course. In addition, he leads a weekly VO workout group and offers other VO business webinars on organization and etiquette in voiceover.
Active in the VO industry since 2009, he went from zero to full-time in 2 years. He attributes his fast success to his organizational prowess along with hard work and enthusiastic diligence. ABOUT THE AUDACITY AND ADOBE AUDITION VIRTUAL COURSES
In each 5 Session Course, you will learn and understand how to execute the Six Key Elements of voiceover editing that every Professional Editor knows and focuses on how to create broadcast ready recordings. When you know the “what to do,” the “how to do it” is easy.
- Understanding and knowing how to deal with Noise Floor issues, proper recording volume, dealing with plosives and breaths.
- A complete easy to follow sequence for Recording & Editing to have your product be 100% consistent and broadcast ready.

ADOBE AUDITION CLASS
WHAT: 5-Week VIRTUAL Course learning how to use Adobe Audition
WHEN: Mondays 5:00-6:30pm EST | Starting May 15th 2023
PRICE: $350
IT IS NOT MANDATORY to be on all live sessions but highly recommended.
After each live session, you will receive the recording and all coursework that you will need to complete prior to the next session (due on Friday).
PLUS you will have 100% access to Larry for one-on-one coaching outside of class time to assist with any questions or challenges that come up.
Prerequisites:
You must have basic computer skills, including file folder creation & downloading, cutting and pasting, dragging & dropping, use of Skype and Dropbox and a version of Audacity or Adobe Audition (depending on the course).
