I truly believe that while generosity can change others’ lives, it often changes yours the most…always for the better.
In this season of gratitude and thanksgiving, we wanted to shine the spotlight on a group that’s doing awesome things in the VO community.
100 Voices Who Care
This group is led by Danielle Famble and Jennifer Clark. Both are full-time voice actors. Danielle is based in New York City and Jennifer is in Kansas City, Missouri.Â
What exactly IS 100 Voices Who Care?
They’re a group of voice actors committed to changing local communities through a collective generosity. They meet quarterly over Zoom, nominate a local nonprofit and vote on a recipient of a collective donation. Each member donates $100 per quarter, which creates a collective impact greater than donating on their own.
A third party, Grapevine, vets the nonprofit chosen to make sure they’re a recognized 501c3 in good standing. They also handle all of the donations.
There’s no membership fees and 100% of the donations go directly to the nonprofit.
Why did they start 100 Voices Who Care?
Originally, it was formed in 2022 by voice actor Claire Dinsdale, who was already involved in a 100 Who Care group in her local community. She knew the generous heart of the VO community and knew that collectively, we could make a bigger impact.
What’s the ultimate goal?
The goal in 2025 is to reach 100 members (or more), so that $10,000 could be donated each quarter to a local nonprofit. Overall, the goal is to build a community of like-hearted voice actors who put their care for local communities into action.

If you already know you want to be a member, watch THIS VIDEO first. Then you’ll head to GRAPEVINE to create an account, and select your donation contribution preferences.
Once that is done, you’ll receive an email from 100 Voices Who Care with more information about Quarterly Give meetings. They provide resources to make it easy to find local nonprofits to nominate at the meetings. If you’re not sure how to gather information from these nonprofits, they provide an email template with questions to ask in order to nominate them.
If you’re interested, but not sure yet whether or to become a member, join one of the Quarterly Gives meetings to see their generosity in action. While you won’t be able to vote, you will be able to watch the process, hear the impact, and ask questions.
