If you’ve been part of the Atlanta Voiceover Studio community awhile, you know I’m all about embracing AI (while of course protecting IP + our voices & faces). For the past 6 months, I’ve been searching for AI products that we can use for our voiceover business. Below are the top AI tools I’ve found and tested.

1| AUDIO: Auphonic
I’ve been looking for an AI program to make our editing easier, faster and more efficient. One of the most promising ones is Auphonic. I’ve been testing it by editing the AVS podcast episodes with it.
I spoke with one of the lead engineers for Auphonic and they’re always trying to improve its capability.

2| AUDIOBOOKS: Pozotron
July was a big audiobook month for me, so I was really able to test Pozotron out. Upload the book in PDF form and it will pull out potentially tricky word pronunciations, pull out characters (then you can add your own notes + a sample of you speaking in that character’s voice) and once you’ve narrated it, it will pull out the needed pickups! It’s really cool.

3| CRM/CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Clay
This one was recommended to me forever ago by Farrah Haidar, a fellow voice actor. I finally started delving into it and am SUPER excited about it. It seems like the answer to what I’ve been searching for.

4| SOCIAL MEDIA: B. Squared Social
I’ve had Laura on our podcast to talk about social media. You can listen to that episode HERE. We subscribe to her Reels Report that has really helped AVS grow our social media. Laura is at the forefront of knowing how to utilize AI to help navigate, organize and create content for your social media.

5| LOGO CREATOR: Looka.com
I wish this was around when I started in voice over! Some of the logos I was able to create in a matter of minutes for my voice over business were great. Easier than trying to use templates from platforms like Canva and more affordable than hiring someone to create a logo for you.

Have you ever spent way too much time trying to locate an email address of a potential or current client? Save that time with Hunter.io!
Simply add the company’s website and Hunter spits out the most probable email address and will let you know if it’s a verified email.

7| WEBSITE CREATOR: Durable
Have you spent way too many hours trying to “DIY” your own website? Durable uses AI to create a custom website for you! Their “starter” plan looks pretty robust and is only $12/month.
