Find out what it takes to work in live action English dubbing! This workshop will provide you with an understanding of the overall dubbing process, of which acting is just one piece of the puzzle! You’ll get a better understanding of the casting process and what producers are listening for. Learn tips on how to make the dialogue sound conversational, the top 3 things to be aware of during a recording session, and discover how to work with the Rhythmo band format used in most studios worldwide. We’ll cover what kinds of demos you’ll need to have to get dubbing work, the pros and cons of remote vs. in-studio recording and how to market your talent.

ABOUT JESSICA BLUE
Jessica Blue has been a voice actress for 20 years and directs and casts English dubbing projects for Netflix, Disney+, HBO, Hulu, Amazon, and more. As a VO talent, some of Blue’s clients include Google, Microsoft, Macy’s, Wells Fargo, Whole Foods, TD Ameritrade, and John Deere. She has also provided voices for several dubbed films and series. Some of the projects she’s directed include Crooks (Netflix), Moving (Hulu), Burning Betrayal (Netflix), Bad Signal: The Series (Hulu), Rich in Love 1 & 2 (Netflix), and Followers (Netflix). She’s also a world traveler, author and indie film producer.
