Lead Generation –  

the action or process of identifying and cultivating potential customers for a business’s products or services.

Why do we need customers if we have agents and online casting sites? Because self-marketing or self-generated customers tend to be the best way to generate on-going, repeat work. I haven’t conducted an official study but from my personal voice over career, this is the case. 

But how do you find potential customers? That’s where lead generation comes in.
